Good design to promote water / Bom design para promover água
Good news!
I won the SWM design contest. Carrying out this contest, SWM aims to inspire people to reduce the consumption of plastic bottles. Furthermore, the money collected with its selling will be forwarded to the Caritas Institution to help a refugee's assistance project.

About the design concept: The design shows the Bayern-Flagge pattern turning into drops of rain, that feed the rivers, that provide the great water of Munich. Then the monk in the Münchner Wappen gives his benediction to the water. The water supplies the life and the Bayern culture represented by the traditional symbols, Lebkuchen, Brezel, Mass Bier, Wurst.
To do that I got inspired by the murals of the famous Dutch artist M.C. Escher. In this work, he creates beautiful metamorphosis patterns. For example, when birds turn to fish representing the nature life circles.
Boa notícia! Ganhei o concurso de design da SWM para criação da garrafa de água oficial de Munique.
Essa iniciativa em parceria com a prefeitura tem como objetivo inspirar as pessoas a reduzir o consumo de garrafas de plástico. Além disso, o dinheiro arrecadado com a venda será encaminhada para uma instituição que presta assistência aos refugiados.
Legal, não é? (obs: a água de Munique é uma das melhores da Europa)

Sobre o conceito de design: O desenho mostra o padronagem da bandeira do estado da Bavária transformando-se em gotas da chuva, que alimentam os rios, que fornecem a ótima água de Munique. Então o monge (símbolo da cidade) dá a sua bênção para a água. A água abastece a vida e a cultura Bávara representadas pelos símbolos tradicionais, Lebkuchen, Brezel, Mass Bier, Wurst. Obs: Todos estes aspectos eram requisitos do editorial do concurso.
Tive como inspiração o trabalho do artista holandês MC Escher. Em seus famosos murais ele cria belas padronagens em metamorfose. Por exemplo, quando aves transformam-se em peixes representando os ciclos da natureza.
